NbN (Nora Barton, Billie Howard, Nomi Epstein) is an experimental improvisation trio that explores sonic textures through manipulation of acoustic instruments- violin, cello, piano- as well as found sound and percussive instruments. Improvisations encourage listeners to investigate subtle aspects of sonic movement where sensory details become heightened through concentrated and focused listening.
